JL Audio Sale: Discounted Subs, Amps and Speakers

JL Audio sale buying guide for 2026

JL Audio is one of the few car audio brands that engineers its own cones, coils and enclosures rather than badging someone else's. That is why a discounted JL Audio subwoofer or amplifier is worth more than a full price bargain brand. This sale collection brings together reduced monoblock and multi channel amplifiers, W series and TW series subwoofers and complete powered enclosures. Stock rotates as lines sell through, so the guide below explains what each range does and how to pick the right combination for your car.

Which JL Audio amplifier range suits your build

• XD v2 series. Compact Class D amplifiers from 200 to 1000 watts, ideal when boot or under seat space is tight but you still want genuine rated power.
• RD series. Straightforward four channel and five channel amplifiers that suit a full system upgrade on a single chassis, keeping wiring simple.
• MX series. Weather resistant conformal coated boards designed for marine, powersports and open cabin installs as well as normal car use.
• Monoblock options. The XD600/1 and MX500/1 handle subwoofer duty on their own so your full range amplifier is not asked to do two jobs at once.

Choosing the right JL Audio subwoofer

Cone size matters far less than enclosure volume and available power. A well fed 8 inch W3v3 in the correct sealed box will out perform a poorly installed 12 inch every time. The W1 and W3 ranges deliver deep musical bass for daily driving, the TW series uses a shallow mount design for boots and under seats where depth is limited, and the W7 range is the reference option for people who want maximum output with control. Match the sub impedance to the amplifier before you buy.

Powered enclosures and MicroSub systems

Not every car has the space for a separate amplifier and box. The ACS and ACP powered systems combine driver, enclosure and Class D amplifier in one sealed unit that mounts under a seat or in a boot corner. They draw power directly from the battery, take a signal from either RCA outputs or speaker level inputs, and give a clean factory looking result. For estates, vans and family cars they are often the smartest option in this sale.

Brand quality at a glance

• JL Audio. American designed and engineered, with patented cone and suspension technology across the W and TW subwoofer families.
• Connects2. Wiring kits, distribution blocks and fitting accessories that pair correctly with JL Audio current draw.
• Alpine and Pioneer. Head units with pre out voltage high enough to drive JL Audio amplifiers cleanly without noise.
• Kenwood and Sony. Value focused source units for builds where the budget is going into amplification rather than the dash.

Power, wiring and getting the numbers right

JL Audio quotes conservative continuous power figures rather than inflated peak numbers, so a 600 watt monoblock genuinely delivers 600 watts. Size your power cable to the total fused current of every amplifier in the car, not the number printed on the box. As a rule, anything above 700 watts total wants 4AWG cable as a minimum and anything above 1500 watts wants 0AWG with a distribution block. Fit the main fuse within 45cm of the battery terminal.

Compatibility and fitting

• Fascia adapter. Needed when a new head unit is going in alongside the amplifier upgrade so the dash finishes flush.
• ISO harness. Lets you connect to factory wiring without cutting the loom, which protects resale value.
• Steering wheel control adapter. Retains factory stalk and wheel buttons on nearly all modern vehicles.
• Aerial adapter. Converts the vehicle plug to a standard DIN connection and supplies phantom power where the car uses an amplified aerial.

Common mistakes to avoid in a sale

The two errors we see most often are buying a subwoofer without confirming the enclosure specification, and pairing a powerful amplifier with an undersized alternator or ageing battery. Check the recommended sealed and ported volumes in the JL Audio specification sheet before ordering a box. If your headlights already dim at idle, sort the electrical system before adding another 600 watts of demand. A quick phone call saves a return.

Why buy from Bass Junkies

Bass Junkies has been fitting and supplying car audio since 1995, so the advice you get is based on installs we have actually completed rather than a spec sheet read out. Our Wolverhampton workshop stocks the amplifiers, subwoofers, wiring and fitting parts together, which means one order and one delivery instead of chasing missing pieces. Sale stock is limited and not restocked once it sells through, so if you are unsure which JL Audio combination suits your vehicle, call the team on 01902 863 005 and we will spec it properly before you commit.
