Why leisure brackets differ from domestic ones

Understanding VESA sizes

VESA is the standard hole pattern on the back of a television, measured in millimetres between the mounting points. If the pattern does not match, a simple VESA adapter plate is far cheaper and safer than improvising with longer bolts.
