Pioneer TS-D12D4 - 2000 Watts 12" 30cm Dual 4 Ohm D-Series Car Sub Subwoofer (Single Sub Supplied)
The Pioneer TS-D12D4 is engineered for serious bass setups. Built with dual 4-ohm voice coils, it outputs 600 W RMS and can handle peaks of up to 2000 W, making it ideal for powerful mono amplifiers or bridged speaker configurations. Whether you’re driving a sealed box for tight, punchy low end or a vented enclosure for booming bass, this sub delivers responsive low frequencies down to 20 Hz.
Build & Design
Durability and performance go hand in hand in this design. The subwoofer uses an IMPP™ cone reinforced with aramid fibre for improved rigidity, reduced distortion, and long-term reliability even at high excursion. The cone is paired with a tough butyl rubber surround that supports movement and helps damp unwanted resonances. With efficient dual-2Ω voice coils, you get more wiring flexibility depending on your amp and setup.
Enclosure & Installation Notes
To get the best out of the TS-D12D4, you’ll want to pair it with the right box. The recommended internal volume is about 28.3 litres (≈ 1.0 ft³) for both sealed and ported enclosures. The mounting depth is approximately 157 mm (≈ 6.2″), with a cut-out diameter of ~281 mm. Note: speaker grille is not included. For optimal performance, use an amplifier capable of delivering stable power, especially when wiring to low impedance loads.
