Upgrade your car audio system with this complete Phoenix Gold bass package. The kit combines the powerful GX12D4 12-inch dual voice coil subwoofer with the Phoenix Gold Z3001i monoblock amplifier, a single 12-inch sealed MDF enclosure and a Connects2 PRO-EIGHT 8AWG amplifier wiring kit.
The GX12D4 can be wired in parallel to create a 2-ohm load, allowing it to work correctly with the Z3001i amplifier. At 2 ohms, the amplifier supplies 300 watts RMS to the subwoofer for strong, controlled bass performance.

12SUBSB Single 12" Sealed Enclosure
The included enclosure is constructed from MDF and finished in black acoustic carpet. Its sealed design provides controlled bass response while protecting and securely housing the subwoofer. The enclosure also includes internal sound-absorbing foam and speaker cable.
This is a separate universal 12-inch enclosure supplied as part of the package. It has not been specifically designed or acoustically tuned exclusively for the GX12D4 subwoofer.

System Configuration
The GX12D4 has two 4-ohm voice coils. For use with the included Z3001i amplifier, the voice coils should be connected in parallel to present a final 2-ohm load. This allows the amplifier to produce 300 watts RMS.
Correct amplifier gain, crossover and subsonic-filter settings are essential for reliable operation. Professional installation is recommended.
