It features a beefy 2 in. diameter voice coil and our patented Elevated Frame Cooling design for enhanced power handling and reliability.
The W3v3s incorporate a new terminal and a lead-wire system woven into the spider along with a new metallic silver frame finish that looks great in any installation.

The 12W3v3-4 is best used with amplifier power in the 150W - 500W range and is optimized to operate in a compact 1.25 cu. ft. (35.4 l) sealed enclosure, or a 1.75 cu. ft. (49.6 l) ported enclosure
The 12W3v3-4 subwoofer boasts an 12" mineral-filled polypropylene cone with a distinctive metallic JL Audio medallion. A patented design eases the stress felt by the rubber surround during cone movement for increased reliability and consistent bass output. The removable customizable trim ring accepts optional JL Audio grilles and can be painted to enhance your installation.
