The adapters connects to the original Ford 6000CD head unit via the CD changer port on the rear and tricks the unit into believing it is playing a CD changer, whilst really playing the audio from another sources. This means the audio can be produced at a much higher quality that cheaper options such as 'FM Transmitters'
This auxiliary adapter enables you to connect an external audio source to your standard factory fitted radio. You can connect to any audio device which has a standard 3.5mm headphone socket connection including iPods, iPhones, MP3 players, Laptops, Mobile Phones (e.g. Blackberry, Sony Ericsson etc.)

Kit contents:
Please Note: Fits Ford cars with quadlock connector on the rear of CD6000 head-units (stereo will have a central on/off/volume button) allowing you to connect your iPhone, iPod or any MP3 player to your AUX input in your car.
This adaptor will only work with stereos that have the AUX button and NOT CDDJ stereos (the stereos with 6 cd's built in)
Installation tips: There is no need for knowing your head unit code, as there is no need to disconnect the radio harness prior the installation, just make sure the head unit remains switched off during installation.
