Audi A4 Upgrade Kit
Converts the Audi Wiring Harness to RCA/Phono Inputs for connecting to a new car stereo with ISO Lead.
Most Audi's have active rear speakers built into the speaker themselves. These adaptors convert the new head unit you are fitting to activate the speakers.
This adaptor is required to replace factory fitted radio with an aftermarket headunit (Alpine, Pioneer, Kenwood, Sony, JVC etc.). It will convert the car original power and speakers wiring connector to a standard ISO connector.
Installation tips that MUST be done to fit this kit
To activate rear speakers, the Blue & White wire on the Red mini ISO plug also needs to be connected to the Blue wire coming off of the New Head Unit (marked Amp Remote) Without doing this your new stereo will NOT work the back speakers
Please check and make sure you have a Bose Badge on the front door speaker grille. If you have not got this badge then this kit will NOT work
You will also need to connect the red wire of our wiring harness provided within this kit to an ignition point in the vehicle or the new radio will not power up
Connection can be made to an ignition point on the cigarette lighter in your vehicle or straight to a fuse box ignition point
Please Note Your new Stereo must have a minimum of 2 pre-outs on the rear for this kit to work. If you only have 1 pre out then you will also need to buy a pair RCA splitters. By doing this you will lose the fader (front & rear) controls on the radio
