T1 Audio has made this uniquie 5 metre extension kit which is required when changing the BMWs factory fitted 16:9 TFT screen or a Sat Nav GPS car stereo to an new aftermarket radio. The connections for the factory radio are found in the boot of the car and this extension kit is connected there and then run to the front of the car to allow you to fit any new aftermarket radio, it will also work the steering wheel functions if the car is fitted with them
The steering wheel interface supplied in this kit connects to a compatible car stereo which must have a 3.5mm jack input on the back of the unitor a 3 wire fly lead allowing the existing stalk/steering wheel controls of the vehicle to carry on working when the new radio is fitted
Please makes sure your Stereo has this feature on the rear of the radio before purchasing this part.
Installation Tips:
When installing a motorised screen the fascia needs to be trimmed slightly (sinner side which will not be visible)

- This panel is designed to fit most Japanese branded double din units such as Kenwood, Pioneer, JVC, Sony, Alpine and Clarion
- If you are fitting a non-branded unit from china with brands such as Erisin, EONON Pumpkin and Xtron, there is a VERY high possibility YOU will have to modify, cut and trim this panel to suit the stereo and accommodate it in your dash.
- These panels are designed based on Japanese stereo's which are a uniformed standard size, stereos from china can be different sizes and we cannot guarantee the stereo will fit without modification and we can not be held responsible.
- If the panel is supplied with side brackets then the stereo cage is not used to fit the radio.
