How to upgrade Toyota car audio in 2026

Toyota cabins span everything from the city focused Aygo to the seven seat Land Cruiser, which means there is no single upgrade recipe. The good news is that most Toyota platforms from 2003 onwards accept either a direct replacement head unit or a CarPlay and Android Auto retrofit, plus straightforward speaker swaps in the front doors.
