How to upgrade Citroen car audio in 2026

Most Citroen factory radios are functional but uninspiring. Older C1, C3 and Berlingo trims came without DAB, and the panel-van Dispatch and Relay still ship with a basic head unit. A modern aftermarket stereo, a pair of upgraded door speakers and the right fascia kit will lift sound quality, add wireless CarPlay and keep your stalk controls working as if it left the factory that way.

Single DIN or double DIN: which fits your Citroen?

C1, older C3 and the early Berlingo use a single DIN slot. Later C3, C4, C4 Aircross, C5 Aircross and the LCV range (Dispatch, Relay, Jumpy, Spacetourer) take a double DIN or a 9 inch screen with the correct fascia kit. Door speaker upgrades

Citroen front doors typically house 16cm or 17cm paper coaxials. We supply JVC 6.3/4 inch 600 watt drivers cut for C1 2005-2014, C1 MK2 2014 on and Dispatch 07-14, supplied with the Connects2 CT25CT07 adapter bracket where required. Most fits in under an hour with a Torx driver.
