Silent Coat Speaker Sound Proof Deadening Mat Starter Set
Original speakers are fitted by the manufacturer into the door which is essentially a tin box and not a good environment to produce decent sound in the car, the speakers produce bass but the vibration caused by this bass on the metal work is unwanted noise that you hear as distortion in the car.
Prior to fitting any speakers in the car we would suggest adding sound deadening to the doors, this will help reduce road noise and vibration and dramatically improve the sound of your car audio stereo system. We also as standard practice in our store add noise isolator and sound absorber when fitting speakers.
The Noise Isolator is used on the speaker baffle and door panel to create a rattle free airtight seal to the door card and the the Sound Absorber is used to used behind your speakers to absorb soundwaves 30-40% more than on a plain material.
